Shocking Winning Colours - Beaded Crochet Eternity Bangle

Shocking Colors (CC21)

Last night when I heard the news that Shocking, ridden by Corey Brown had won the Melbourne Cup at the Flemington Racecourse, I decided to throw together an eternity bracelet to commemorate the occasion. I chose to work with the distinctive colors won by Shocking's jockey.

	Beads strung together in preparation of the bangle.		Shows stringing and work sequence. Each orange bead is crocheted individually. 3 matt black seed beads are crocheted together in one stitch. 2 black bulge seed beads are crocheted together in one stitch. So there are 5 stitches per round/row.
	Worked in spiral crochet using distinctive Shocking winning colours of orange and black.		A very flexible bracelet. Unlike hard bangles that can bang against things and even break during wear, this is very comfortable to wear as it is quite flexible while able to retain its shape.

2mm Black cut bugle beads
2mm matt black seed beads
solid orange seed beads
clear seed beads with fluro orange centers
strong crochet thread

TOOLS

Crochet Hook (size 8)
