This handcrafted necklace has been named "A Corny Acorn" ~ for obvious reasons. Created during one of my phases of attempting miniature items - and out popped these acorns.

Golden Lovers - beaded wall hanging

I bought a painting entitled "Golden Lovers" some time this year from Nigel Gillings, a local Sydney artist. The purchase was made at the Paddington Markets in Sydney though Nigel does have his own website (www.nigelart.com).

1920s Flapper Dress

I have always been fascinated by the 1920s flapper dress. All those tassles - so tantalizing and fun. And so, I have always wanted to have a flapper dress. Well I finally made one for myself with what I have on hand. The underlying base dress was first crocheted using silky viscose yarn.

Quite a timeless bracelet featuring a combination of brass metal beads and deep lush emerald green. A very comfortable wear as it is both firm and flexible. Retains its shape well while avoiding the nasty bangs and inflexibility of solid hard bangles.

 

Nature's Woods - Wooden Beaded Crochet Eternity Bangle

I wanted to try a chunkier, bolder version of the Eternity Bangle. Using leopard spotted wooded tube beads and contrasted with red wooden oval beads produced a bold and striking bracelet. Trendy, firm but flexible ... with no worries of glass breaking or cracking.
