A Corny Acorn necklace

This handcrafted necklace has been named "A Corny Acorn" ~ for obvious reasons. Created during one of my phases of attempting miniature items - and out popped these acorns.

The acorns are crocheted with cotton yarn from Nepal. They are then stuff with cotton to give it shape and firmness. The chain is woven with a beaded crochet cord - finger crochet with double beads (beads on both sides of the flat cord). And the chain is a gold plated light aluminium large-link chain that is both nickel and lead free.

	I have hung the single acorn at the bottom but it occurs to me now that the double acorn could also be hung as the drop "bead".		A another look at the corny acorn - front on.
