Chantel Bag Charm

As I mentioned in Miniature - Blue White Bag Charm, I just started playing around with making some miniature items. I showed the Blue White bag at the beading forum and a good pal of mine, Chantel McCabe said she liked it. This was yesterday and I told her I would make her one if I could find the time to spare (as it is almost Christmas 2009, and there is too much to do). I didn't find the time to spare but I had to satisfy my itch today and make it anyway. So this is the resultant Chantel Mini Bag Charm.

Hopefully it doesn't show, and more importantly that it will not fall apart - but this little bag gave me a bit more problems than anticipated. After I finished it, I had to do some serious surgery on it because one of the threads came out (I must have cut too close). Then it required some cosmetic repair. I think I saved it and hope Chantel does too!

	Here is one angle of the Chantel Mini Bag Charm. The main components are Swarovski White Alabaster and White Alabaster crystals (5328) and Swarovski Mystic Black pearls (5810). More details below.		Another angle of the bag. I know, I know .. it looks much the same but I kinna like it.

	Standing next to some coins - the silvery one is an Aussie 5¢ piece. The other is an Aussie $1 piece.		I was wondering what to do with this miniature bags. Believe it or not, I am not a person who is into miniature stuff - not to keep anyway. So anyway, it occurred to me today that (just for a laugh), it could be worn like a ring (the handles will determine the size of the ring) - and what do you know, it doesn't look half bad!!

MATERIALS

* Swarovski 5328 XILION bicone - 4mm - mix of White Alabaster & White Alabaster AB (44 pcs for the base)
* Swarovski 5810 Crystal Pearl - 3mm - Mystic Black (32pcs for the upper part)
* Miyuki seed beads - size 11/0 - crystal AB (about 110 pcs - as body spacing and in the handles)
* Czech seed beads - size 11/0 - black (just a few pieces in the handle)

TOOLS

beading needle
stringing fishing line - 12lb. (or any strong threads)
